Choosing the Right Rope:
Here at GKH we aim to be able to provide useful, long-lasting, fun yet practical items that will last for years.
Our Professional Lead Ropes are made from 14mm Double Braid Rope that is heavier (than our Standard Range), easy to handle and incredibly durable.

What Length do I need:
10' - Leading, tying up and close up ground work.
12' - The most common length for everyday use, leading, tying up and groundwork.
14-18' - Suitable for Groundwork, leading Larger Horses and some lunging.
20'+ - Suitable as Lunge and Long Lines.
Weight!! If you are looking for a rope that is heavier we have sourced a rope that matches with our 1/4" Soft and Stiff Halters. The weight comparisons are shown below. Both ropes are 14mm (9/16") in thickness, double braid construction making both types robust, long lasting as well as washable. 'Feel' when working horses is a very personal thing and we aim to provide a full range to cover all wants and needs.

Choose your connection type:
Tied On - A simple yet highly effective rope that is tied on to the Halter. A hardware 'less' rope that is easy to tie on/take off. The most Economical connection option and a really popular choice.
Rope Eye - Spliced and stitched Rope Eye for the ultimate metal free connection to your Rope Halter.
Trigger Clip - Brass Plated, quality and convenience - spliced onto the rope, these clips are good quality and give the ultimate convenient option.
Heavy Brass Swivel Snap - excellent quality, Brass Snap. The same as seen on the leading brand for Horsemanship Equipment.
Leather Poppers are made from Quality Leather by a small UK based business.
Biothane Poppers are an excellent, durable option and give a similar look and feel to Leather.
