GKH Helix Halter

Designed exclusively in the UK and handmade by GKHorsemanship, the Helix Halter is a unique sliding ring halter created to reduce the twisting effect often seen during groundwork and lunging — while still offering all the benefits of a professional ¼" soft rope halter.

For even greater versatility, you can add sidepull rings, transforming the Helix into a multi-purpose halter suitable for lunging, groundwork, long lining, and riding.

Unlike other designs, the Fiador knot remains in place, so you can continue using your preferred lead rope style — whether that’s a rope eye, clip, or tied-on connection.

Made from 6mm (¼") double braid soft rope, the Helix Halter is slightly thinner and carries a little more weight than our standard halters. It’s a responsive, comfortable option for handlers who prefer a finer feel without compromising on strength or quality.
